Movie trailers can sometimes be misleading. They can show you all the best parts of a film, hiding its flaws, bad acting, plot holes, and poor storytelling. Yet we as consumers are supposed to make what can be a very expensive decision (As high as $12.75 a ticket) based solely on the 2 1/2 minute glimpse the movie studios give us.
If we guess correctly, we're rewarded with an entertaining experience and the word of mouth excitement can't wait to bring others into the theater behind us. If we guess incorrectly, and let's face it these days there's a huge possibility that we will, it can lead to a disappointing evening and our contemplating the many other things our money could have been spent on.
We created this blog as a way to sort through the muck that comes out of Hollywood and try to guess the precious gems from the huge piles of crap. Ultimately we're just a couple movie buffs that like to talk a lot of crap about the movies we love, the movies we hate, and the movies we love to hate.
Enjoy.
