The Bouw-Man.
There doesn’t seem to be anything in the trailer that leads one to believe that “Killers” will be anything special.  First, in order to pull off an ironic action comedy (think “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”) the main leads must have that special chemistry together and be likeable to an audience.  It doesn’t appear that Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl have either of these characteristics.  Neither is known for their “acting chops,” and if not for their looks probably wouldn’t have a job in Hollywood.  In the beginning of the preview we see Katherine Heigl seemingly reprise her role from “27 Dresses” as the poor single girl as she vacations with her parents.  Of course she later meets a mysterious stranger (Kutcher) who appears to be the perfect guy.  Enter the plot twist.  With a lot of screaming, drinking, car chases and tiresome one-liners in need of a laugh track, the trailer ends in unmemorable fashion.  Don’t know if this one is going to make it in this saturated market.

Prediction.
A tough sell with so many other options out there, I can’t imagine this has the makings of a successful run.  It’s going to need help to hit double digits, so I’m banking on an $8 million opening weekend.  Sorry Heigl, maybe it wasn’t a good idea to leave “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Opening Weekend Gross: $8 Million

Noodles.
The title to this movie seems like what this film could be to the careers of the actors within it. From the beginning it starts off like a Calvin Klein ad with Kutcher walking around half naked with the "I'm too sexy" look on his face. And I must say that I'm a little tired of Katherine Heigl always playing the beautiful, relationship challenged, poor little rich/lonely/awkward girl in every freaking movie. I may be exaggerating a bit but not by much.

This movie also has the unfortunate problem of idiotic producers who thought it was a good idea to withhold this film from the movie critics, because they want to "capitalize on the revolution in social media by letting audiences and critics define this film concurrently." In layman's terms the movie sucks and they hope fans won't notice until after they've spent their money.

Prediction.
I, like many other people will avoid this movie and wait for its better looking twin to hit theaters in a few weeks, starring Tom Cruise.
Opening Weekend: Gross: $7 Million
