The Bouw-Man.
The first time I heard the name Justin Bieber was last year when my friend asked me if I could get his daughter concert tickets. Not knowing how popular he was, I said “no problem” and began the process of trying to secure tickets. I just couldn’t believe how difficult it was to get two crummy seats to see this kid. As a result, I will never make a promise like that again without doing my homework first. As for this film, it will be interesting how it does at the box office this weekend. The “Hannah Montana” concert movie made over $31 million during its opening weekend in 2008, yet the “Jonas Brothers concert movie made only around $12.5 million in 2009. Both of those films had February openings, just like Bieber, so the range for concert movies is quite large. I’m thinking it will make more than “Jonas,” but not as much as “Hannah.” Let’s say $21 million for Bieber.
Opening Weekend Gross: $21 Million
Noodles: Prediction
I don't get it, and I don't want to catch Beiber Fever. So I'm staying as far away as possible. BUT I know there are millions of little girls and young women that can't wait for this fluff piece. My prediction is that this flick will rule the weekend!
Opening Weekend Gross: $40 Million
