Results: As usual in our current movie going trend, the kid's movie beats the crap out of the live action films again. You have to wonder if Hollywood should stop trying to show us live action re-makes of classic children cartoons; think Marmaduke or the Chipmunks. As things stand, if they really want to make money they would reboot these old franchises as 3D CGI movies and program their way to the bank.
I won't say "I told you so" about the Jonah Hex fiasco, but hopefully this will let people know that if you want to make a western based on a comic book and you don't start and end with good storytelling over special effects, you deserve what you get. Hell, even Killers beat this movie after 3 weeks in release.
