Noodles.
I had to watch a couple versions of this trailer before I could think of anything to write. Even now as I sit here with nothing but 'Tangled' on my mind I find it hard to come up with any excitement about seeing this movie. Rapunzel was never one of my favorite books growing up, but you figure with Disney's backing and 3D in the works that this might be a worthwhile endeavor right?
I was immediately struck by the same old tired cliche of a story, granted their telling an old story but the only new twist seems to be that they made the hair almost a character in itself. The plot seems weak, and the comedy seems light, so I can only imagine little kids too young for Harry Potter will be in attendance this weekend.
Prediction.
Kid's movies are a gold mine for the most part, and with Disney you should always bank on a winner, at least for their cartoon division. I think Thanksgiving helps this film immensely and it will finish 2nd only to Mr. Potter.
Opening Weekend: Gross: $35 Million
